20 viewsThat's Theador Tug Boat going along in the water there (as I was recently corrected) Apparently you can take a trip on it, I think we will before the end of the summer, I will have to get a close up shot of it someday. It has a ball cap on the top of the boat in red. To the right of the photo you see some bright yellow and white on the other side of the harbour. That's where the multi-cultural festival is being held. We went to it yesterday, lots of fun! They had displays from all over the world, including Italy, and Denmark. :)merauder

29 viewsI thought I would start off this section of the site. I took this shot while blocking part of the flash. As a result it made these red streaks in the flash reflections.merauder

"Sprocket the Rocket"18 viewsThis is "Sprocket" my Green Naped Lory (or sometimes referred to as "Rainbow Lorikeet" for obvious reasons!) She is a living jewel with colour and detail that amazes me. She actually sat still long enough to let me take this lovely portrait. She is very, very hyper and high strung - this species eats nectar (basically sugar!) with their brush tongues.Laura
